Valentine's Day Wreath And An Announcement!
Valentine's Day is this Friday! Woo Hoo! I'm happy because it means we are halfway through February which means we will be closer to spring. Which means, I am still showcasing ways to bust your stash to make way for spring fabric!
I showed you a few projects I created using some of my fabric stash such as my hanging fabric hearts, and scrap heart garland. Today, I'm excited to show you another way to use those little puffy hearts!
I used an old grapevine wreath I had purchased at a garage sale. I wrapped it in ribbon to make it a smoother surface and then I just wrapped red yard around the entire thing, tying the loose ends together to secure. Then I hot glued three puffy hearts onto the side and hung it with a thick white ribbon.
In other news, I have a big, happy announcement! I have joined with some inspiring, amazing bloggers on a collaborative site called Live Creatively Inspired! Each day you'll be able to read a post from a different blogger, each with her own style and voice! Explore LCI and you'll find craft, DIY, decorating, gardening, and recipe ideas! I'm incredibly flattered to be a part of the site and I will be posting my first post on Tuesday--another fabric stash buster idea. I hope you'll make LCI one of your go-to-every-day blogs! I'll tell you more about some of the other bloggers who contribute to Live Creatively Inspired this week as well!
Hope to see you on Tuesday at LCI and I'll be back at Days of C&C this week too!
Awesome!!! Love this wreath. Is it hanging on your front door? It's really lovely!
