Refinished Table, Party Hats, Super Simple Wreath

Share It:
I've been busy!  Here is what I've been working on!

My sister and her husband are super generous and luckily for me she changes her mind about furniture quite often. I score some really great stuff!  Here is a little table she gave me that she was "done" with.

,Great legs, but I'm not into blondes.

It made Ellie very sad. It wasn't the lion mane, I swear. It was the naked table.
I sanded it, slapped on some gray-blue paint (my living room color plus some gray craft paint mixed in) and then I used a gold paint pen to highlight some of the details. Wa-la!

I also changed my wreath to something super simple but I really like it. It feels Novemberish.

And finally, I made some sweet party hats for Molly's fairy party. She wanted them to have veils like princess hats so that's what we did!  I loved sewing the crepe paper ruffle. Wait until you see the favor boxes!!  They are my favorite part. But I'm just being a tease.  You have to wait for those. But here are the hats. Some are facing backward so you can see the veils. Awwwwww.

The back. We glued on sparkly flower and butterfly cut outs to hide the glue blob.
I got those at Target for $.99!  Not bad!

So that's been my life in the past 24 hours in a nutshell.

Cheers!
Jenny
