Halloween Mantel (Fall Decor)

I revamped our mantel this week and added some Halloween decor. I just swapped out some of the standard fall items for more festive and spooky decorations.  I am happy with it but I think I liked my fall mantel wreath better than this one! I made this wreath from tea stained coffee filters and then just tacked on some "bats" I made by tying a basic knot in some ribbon and clipping the ends on an angle.

Last year I made this Halloween Glam wreath and it sort of inspired my mantel this year. I added some black velvet pumpkins I made and added some glitter to dollar store pumpkins. The garland is a Home Goods find and it's glittery as well.  Funny that I didn't even use that wreath this year!

See the ghostly image on the bottom right?  That's Ellie running through the picture. I thought it was a very cool image and sort of fits the spooky feel of Halloween.

Did you have a good weekend?  Anything great on tap this week?  I'm going into Molly's class to help the teacher hang up some bulletin boards and I can't wait. I am excited to get into a school as it's been so long for me since I subbed last.
